Good morning!  Well, we are now only six days from our inaugural service of the First Baptist Church West Jacksonville (15 November 2009 @ 10AM).  Every day God brings new blessings as we move forward to initiate the formal work of His new fellowship.  Our core start-up team had another wonderful time of Bible study, prayer, planning and fellowship last evening.  Please join us in prayer as we continue to seek His perfect will for our church, now and in the days to come.  Our temporary meeting site is in the auditorium of the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, 8233 Nevada Street, between Cahoon Road N. and Bulls Bay Highway.  If you prefer traditional worship, biblical preaching, and evangelistic southern gospel music, we invite you to visit us this Sunday.  Remember, prayer is the key to heaven but faith unlocks the door.  Blessings!

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad!  In Ephesians 6:18 we’re told to “pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and request.  With this in mind, be alert and always be praying for all the saints.”  Let’s all keep on believing, for God will answer prayer!  Have a glorious day; I love you! God is so good. He continues to open doors leading up to our inaugural service on Sunday, 15 November 2009. As we continue to pray, our Lord will continue to be faithful. So, pray wihout ceasing! I love you. Pastor Gene
